Scope and current website boundary

This Privacy Notice explains how hermeslogisticsus.com handles personal information through website visits, public contact routes, qualification tools, preview interfaces, live business-inquiry delivery, and limited analytics. It does not replace a service-specific privacy notice or contract where a separate workflow, product, or legal entity provides additional disclosures.

Some website tools remain in preview mode or operate as dry-run interfaces. A preview does not send or store submitted information unless the page clearly identifies a live delivery workflow. Direct email and phone actions are handled through the provider selected by the user and the published Hermes contact route.

Notice at Collection: categories and purposes

At or before a website form asks for personal information, Hermes provides a short notice linking here. Depending on the selected workflow, the site may request identifiers and business contact information such as name, email, phone number, company, role, city or country, WhatsApp or Telegram contact, website or social profile, preferred language and contact time, selected services, MC/USDOT number, equipment, operating area, project needs, budget range, or a message supplied by the user.

When a visitor deliberately submits the business-growth inquiry form after arriving through a paid or tagged campaign, the submitted lead may also include the landing-page path, referring page, UTM source, medium, campaign, term or content values, and Google click identifiers such as GCLID, GBRAID, or WBRAID when those values are already present in the landing URL. These values are used to understand which source or campaign produced the inquiry, support routing and follow-up, and evaluate lead-generation performance.

The purposes are to respond to a request, route it to the appropriate business direction, qualify a logistics, marketing, academy, or technology inquiry, prepare a user-requested preview or summary, understand inquiry source, prevent duplicate or abusive submissions, maintain security, and improve the website. Do not submit passwords, payment credentials, Social Security numbers, identity documents, confidential records, or other sensitive information unless a future secure workflow explicitly requires and explains it.

Website analytics, cookies, and tracking choices

Google Analytics 4 is the currently approved analytics integration. Hermes uses a consent-gated setup: the Google Analytics tag is not loaded until a visitor chooses “Allow analytics.” If analytics is allowed, GA4 may use first-party analytics cookies to distinguish users and sessions. Hermes stores the visitor’s analytics choice in first-party browser storage so the site can remember that preference.

Advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization remain disabled in the current implementation. The site does not currently deploy Meta Pixel or a parallel Google Tag Manager container. A business inquiry may include campaign parameters or Google click identifiers that were already present in the landing URL, but those values are attached to the lead only when the visitor submits the form; their inclusion does not by itself load analytics, advertising cookies, remarketing, or ad-personalization storage.

Analytics events must not contain names, email addresses, phone numbers, WhatsApp or Telegram contacts, MC/USDOT numbers, VINs, exact private addresses, routes, budgets, document contents, or free-form messages. Visitors can reopen Privacy settings and change the analytics choice.

If advertising, remarketing, additional cookies, a consent-management platform, or new tracking providers are introduced, this notice, the applicable regional requirements, and the technical consent controls must be reviewed before deployment.

How information is used and disclosed

• To respond to or route a request the user chooses to send.
• To understand which campaign, source, page, or referral generated a deliberately submitted business inquiry where attribution values are available.
• To perform qualification, duplicate prevention, rate limiting, security, fraud-prevention, troubleshooting, and website operations.
• To work with service providers that support hosting, email, analytics, security, or other approved operational functions, subject to the relevant service configuration and agreements.
• To comply with applicable law, legal process, or protect rights, safety, systems, and users where legally permitted.
• Hermes does not publish form submissions as public content unless a separate workflow obtains the necessary authorization.

Retention and data minimization

Hermes aims to collect only information reasonably needed for the stated purpose and to retain it only for an operational, contractual, security, accounting, dispute, or legal need. Preview-only browser data should not become a server record merely because it was typed into a preview.

Retention periods can differ by workflow. Before a new live form, CRM integration, payment flow, account, or document upload is activated, the owner of that workflow must define the data categories, system of record, access roles, retention or deletion rule, and security controls. Information that no longer has a legitimate business or legal purpose should be securely deleted or de-identified where feasible.

Security

Hermes uses a data-minimization and least-access approach: do not collect unnecessary sensitive information, limit access to people and systems that need it, use controlled delivery routes, and avoid sending private form fields into analytics or public URLs. Lead-delivery workflows may use technical request identifiers, duplicate controls, and rate limits to reduce accidental repeat delivery and abuse. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Privacy rights and choices

Depending on where you live and whether a particular privacy law applies to the relevant Hermes business, you may have rights to request access to personal information, correction, deletion, information about certain disclosures, or an opt-out from sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or similar processing. Hermes will not describe a right as universally available when the governing law does not apply, but you may still contact us with a privacy request.

Use the Privacy Choices page to request access, correction, deletion, or an applicable opt-out. We may need reasonable information to verify the request and protect data from unauthorized access or deletion. Authorized-agent requests may require verification of authority where permitted by law.

California notice

If the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies to a particular Hermes business and interaction, this section is intended to support the required notice at or before collection. The categories collected through the website can include identifiers, customer or business contact information, internet or network activity, and professional or commercial information supplied in an inquiry. The business purposes are described above.

The site is not intended to collect sensitive personal information through ordinary contact forms. If a California opt-out right regarding sale or sharing becomes applicable to a deployed data practice, Hermes must provide the legally required method and update the Privacy Choices page before that practice is activated.

International visitors

The website can be visited internationally, but a translated page or international email route does not by itself mean every Hermes service is offered in every country. If a Hermes business intentionally targets a market where additional privacy requirements apply, including the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, the applicable workflow must be reviewed for lawful basis, cookies or tracking consent, transfer mechanisms, data-subject rights, and any additional required notices before launch.

Privacy questions and requests may be sent through the Privacy Choices page or to officeus@hermeslogisticsus.com. The applicable contracting or service entity will be identified by the relevant service page, proposal, order, or agreement where required.

This notice will be reviewed when the site adds a material new data flow, advertising technology, live account system, payment flow, document upload, new analytics provider, or targeted international market.
